To Look beyond the bald and grey

The theory is that the bald look and grey hair don’t suit everyone. It could really look good on a few like Vin Diesel Or Clooney and we even named it the “salt and pepper” look. We crushed over George Clooney and his clones. But can everyone pull it off? We are living in times where being presentable is a part of hygiene. Even with clothing. You have to be the actual Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg to pull off a black t-shirt with blue jeans every day. From people to boxes, everything should look perfect.

The answer is, my heart :)))))))

My point here ladies is that wigs and hair extensions and dyes for men are in fashion and they make your men look good. The new dilemma is that when at the end of the day, the charade is over, work is finished and we are done with friends and partying; and your man wants to cool off his head and not wear those extensions anymore or chooses to wear a grey beard on a vacation, what's your reaction? Do you get put off or do you not care?

I have spoken to a few girls and they say they don’t care, it's only a matter of his public appearance, there are other things that matter more. Now hush your brains, you naughty people, I was just talking about things like his heart, his manners & how he makes you feel special.

And obviously that too. How can I not?? :P :P

While for others, a man with a wig or hair on his head has more confidence and confidence does win hearts. There are also a few who feel that once the wigs come off, they can't feel the same love and affection, and it's an important factor for them. I am nobody to judge here, all of these are perfectly sane choices.

However, it made me brood. About us humans. Our increasing need to beautify everything. I sell locks and hardware products for a living and good god, people are asking me to not just make beautiful products but gorgeous packaging boxes also. For some products, the packaging rates are now a significant percentage of the product cost. Interestingly, we as consumers are not just interested in paying for the product but also those beautiful boxes (into x times the margin to the seller). And that too, for a box that we have to throw away within 1 day of receiving it. How are we becoming smarter here? Isn't this another version of instant gratification?

Should everything be gift-wrapped now? Another instant gratification?

I want to ask you ladies, are we perfect enough? I am trying to evoke a small thought there. I mean, we like our men to be okay with the imperfections of our bodies and we appreciate the ones who like us for it. I have dated some men in the past and those who have liked me for the way I am, and they were the best ones. So then, what's wrong with liking men with their imperfections? Why and when did we make such a big deal about it? We were the sensible ones. The matured ones. We knew heart and stability were more important than all of this.

I understand appearances are important. To everyone. Men and women. Else, I would have never stopped dressing like a tomboy. One day I realized that a girl wearing a dress, a sling bag, and some heels could easily open more doors and hearts than one wearing a cap, a t-shirt, and a pair of jeans. So wearing wigs, looking more presentable, and more confident is something I would vote a thumbs up for. But at the end of the day, when we return to our homes, we want to be us. Doesn't that apply to everyone?

I Believe, to date a man with a wig/extensions or not, is completely your choice ladies, but to have him wear the burden of your pleasure at all times is not. The same applies to men. What do you think, am I interpreting this right boys and girls? Or do you have more to say? Do let me know. I will be waiting.
